When the price of oil goes up it squeezes everybody in the US economy especially the consumer. Commuters still need to get to work and trucks still deliver all goods to our store shelves. What will happen is the quality of life will go down for the average American. Good paying jobs will be replaced with Wal Mart associate jobs. Foreclosures will continue and life in general will get worse for most Americans.
